Certified Mail is a pure product of Kirtfilm Studios, the "Gower Gulch" of New York sleaze. Proprietor Leonard Kirtman - credited here as the film's producer and director under one of his common pseudonyms "Leo the Lion" - was one of the more colorless colorful figures in Gotham porn, making up in quantity what his films lacked in quality and providing a steady source of day work for porn performers and technicians alike.
