For those who have watched it, how is the new Solar Opposites? I've never watched it, but I'm curious how they handled the booting of their lead voice actor.

Henpocalypse

Another great bbc comedy that has come out last week. The box set is already available on the iplayer for those in the uk. Don't let this fool you as this isn't just for the ladies, but something men can enjoy too. Zombie apocalypse but with a comedy twist with all females.

Ok, just checked it out, and they address the voice actor issue in literally the first 2 minutes of the season.

Abbot Elementary

Funny comedy/mockumentary set about in a school with a group of teachers who with limited resources are doing their best to help the students. Having a tone deaf head teacher adds to the comedy

Bitcoin, Streaming wars and now COVID.
I see Futurama is going after "current" events
New futurama is going awesome. I just hope this doesn't get cancelled again or something as i much prefer it to the simpsons

Bad Behaviour

A nice Aussie drama series which all eps are on iplayer for those who live in the UK. Not familiar with any of the cast so no one really stood out to keep an eye on. Series is set in a exclusive boarding school and is based on a book of the same name. Series gives off all themes that we all had during school, whether private or public state schools of the bullying, wanting to feel belonged with your peers. This has it all

They got the home-testing experience bang on, as well as the ZOOM meetings. A couple years late, but hey, better than never.

Finished Blacklist. Not perfect, and got really convoluted around S7/8, but the last scene really brought it home. Dembe has a great monologue:

"Death is inevitable. It will come for us all. And that inevitability robs death entirely of its significance. What matters are the things that are not inevitable. The things we create, the things we find, the left we take when everything in our life is leading us right. How we live. I've always loved him for that"

That's just part of it. He's been portrayed as largely stoic for 10 years, and he finally breaks down into raw emotion. I thought it was great.

Juice

Fans of Mawaan Rizwan will love this. Even though alot of this is via the lens of asians being able to understand some of the references and topics etc, this is still a good comedy for all.

BCT

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
The new Reno 911s are fricking hilarious. They are airing them on
Wednesdays on comedy central.

Black Snow

I am loving the fact that alot of Aussie/New Zealand shows are being broadcasted in the UK on BBC. Seems like there a big market for it now. Even though i don't recognise the cast in the series, it is still worth a watch. This is about a cold case where a boy was murdered in the 90's in a rural place in Australia. The case was never solved till the present day where a detective tries to solve it and is hot on the tail of the killer.

The Continental

If you are a fan of the John Wick films, then you will need to watch this series which has just come out on Amazon Prime. This series is a prequel origin story, but is more focused on the hotel and Winston than John. There are some characters in the show that we are familiar with in the main films as their younger self's and some that are made for the purpose of the show

Boiling point

The phrase "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" really applies here. Touching drama on how working in the kitchen can really be like, and it doesn't stop there but also dealing with their personal lives too

The Long Shadow

True drama based on the killings of Peter Sutcliffe murdering numerous women across Yorkshire and Manchester

Partygate

A Mockumentary about the scandals the government were doing during the pandemic when normal folks were isolating and they were having parties.

Does it add anything substantial to the films, or is it like most of the Marvel spinoff TV shows which are lame cash-grabs?
I would say not alot other than wrapping up origin stories of people
